If you started a #yearofmaking on January 1st, today is your one hundredth day!
(If you started before or after January 1st, tell me what day you’re on in the comments, wontcha? And if you haven’t started yet, no day is a bad day to start.) (Oh, and if you’re doing the #The100DayProject, I bet you cash money you won’t want to stop making at the end, so continuing with an additional 265 days of making – according to your own rules – will probably feel like the best idea ever.)
Here’s what I’m making today (it’s a wee rug for our camper trailer for our massive road trip next month [you’ll hear lots more about that over the next couple weeks!]):

I would like to thank you for introducing me to this project. And yes, thank you as well for reminding me that it has been 100 days. Wow. I need to do my own post on this apparently! And am enthralled by t-shirt rug. Am thrilled that you get to do all that traveling Kim.
Love and gratitude to you,
Shalagh
I started on January 1st. I can’t believe it has been 100 days. I didn’t know if I’d make it through 30. This has really helped me tackle some of those patterns and projects on my “maybe someday” list, and I have found myself even trying new techniques–some with better results than others. Thank you for inspiring this!
I started Dec 26th and only recently missed a day here and there. :/ Well now I’m sad. If i had realized i got to 100 in there, I could have scrounged something to do on those hard days.
(one section was 25th anniversary trip, another missed day was crazy work, falling into bed exhausted kind of day)
Thank you for some much-needed perspective! :)
I’m on day 100! I have missed making something one day so far, a sick day. Most of my making this year has been fiber or food related, which are my two favorite mediums. I’ve learned two new knitting techniques, thrumming and adding an afterthought thumb to mittens, and vastly improved my stranded knitting skills.
