Clearly, weekly roundups need not happen on the same day each time. Nor weekly. Whatever.
This week’s roundup has a loose theme. You tell me what it is.

* My Firefox spellchecker thinks millennia is not a word. Merriam-Webster says either plural is acceptable. I’ll let Firefox win this time, since it does such nice things for me every day.
Dr. Horrible!!! Ah Joss, he just can’t help making brilliant stuff. If he were to spill pancake batter on the floor it would be funny and insightful somehow (and dark).
Roslin ’08 shirt is hilarious. I want one.
One of Peter’s friends was apparently an extra on BSG recently. I’m dying waiting for the season to finish and come out on dvd. It will be on dvd instantly, right? Right?!
Yay for reading Murakami! He’s one of my all-time favorite authors. After Dark was good, but was too much like his short stories for my liking (his short stories are always unfulfilling – I’m always left wanting to know what happens next, you know?) If you’re enjoying After Dark, I highly suggest some of his earlier works in the surreal realism genre: The Windup Bird Chronicle (possibly my favorite book of all time), and the Rat trilogy, which consists of A While Sheep Chase and Dance Dance Dance, and the first book in the “trilogy,” Pinball 1973, which is no longer being published (and much, much rawer), but can sometimes be found online in PDF or HTML format… (Google it – you’ll find it.)
I agree with you about Morning Glory (the wild weed, not the cultivated flowers).
I think it was sent here from outer space to remind us happy gardeners that evil does exist.
Did you know that a single plant, if left alone, can cover 20 square meters in one summer?
I’m a huge fan of organic gardening, but when you’re up against evil, you must fight on the same terms. The only, single weed in my garden on which I allow myself to use weed-killer is Morning Glory.
but what if Roslin IS a cylon??? I can’t wait for the new iPhones either, I didn’t get the first gen one, waited for better and 3G.
That new doogie movie looks great, he’s such a great actor.
Jayne amigurumi? Sweet mother… I thought I was der ubergeek. You win. ;-) Kisses! Oh, and you’ll LOVE the iPhone. My touch rules those remnants of the universe that my beagle left over.
