I discovered Shwin & Shwin’s quick tutorial for an upcycled t-shirt scarf a while back on Pinterest, and I finally tested it out on an old t-shirt this morning. The verdict: ACE.

One old t-shirt, a pair of scissors and twenty minutes and I was done. It’s soft and comfy, and as an added bonus it’s of course machine washable. My entire wardrobe these days has to be machine washable, on account of how much it gets spit-up on. But I refuse to slide into frumpiness, so projects like these are key!

Now I have to dig up more t-shirts I don’t wear anymore…

I see you didn’t cut off the little ties, I Like yours better, a little edgier! I think my collegegirl would like one!

Right! I had trouble tying the knots when the ties were as short as the
tutorial calls for, so I made them around 4″ long, and then just left them
      alone.

Love it!! I made 2 or 3 of the upcycled T-Shirt scarves from the tutorial from Shwin & Shwin and I made 2 scarves from the tutorial from Method.
