2010 was the year I ventured far from my yarn-crafting comfort zone, which is not to imply I was uncomfortable doing it.
Inspired by my cousin’s jewelry making, I learned how to make earrings. Armed with a bag of implements I bought off Craigslist and knowledge gained from a workshop at the Summit of Awesome, I started screen printing. And I finally, finally, progressed from thinking about sewing to actually learning how to do it. In fact, as I write this there are four newly completed zipper pouches in front of me. They aren’t perfect, but I know what I want to do differently next time.
There’s a slideshow of my finished projects from the year at the end of the post for posterity and/or your entertainment, but here are my five favourites:
I have a feeling the shawl I just finished might have edged its way into this list, but it’s still blocking so I won’t know for sure for a few more hours.

Wow, it must be great to look back in the year and see all that has been accomplished. I think sometimes we only think of what we haven’t done … looking to the positive side I think inspires us to do more! BTW you upcycled table is the coolest and I love that hanging key keyholder!

 It is really good that you spend your time in making the crafts, crafts are best for the spending time, it makes our mind creative and we can also improve our efficiency.
