On a lighter note, I can’t stop thinking about making more of these earrings. I used the Craftstylish tutorial by Lee Meredith, which is, as are all things she does, wonderful.
Also, making a lot more of these will be great practice in building basic wireworking skillz. I needs some.
So cute! I think I have the supplies for some of those in my craft room somewhere…
Yay! They are just so quick and fun to make, once you start it's hard to stop! Thanks for the leethal link!!
Glad to see you over on the dark side, er, jewelry-making world. : )
Hmmm . . . I found as a beginner that I needed in-person help via my local bead shop! That said, I really found books/mags with lots of step-by-step photos like BeadStyle or Getting Started Making Wire Jewelry to be the most helpful. The more photos, the better. Especially ones were you can see the hand positions. That's what always tripped me up. I couldn't figure out how I was supposed to be holding the tools and moving my hands. Once you have the basics I'd get something where you get a lot of bang for your buck like 101 Wire Earrings.
Recently I was extremely low on money and debts were eating me from all sides! That was UNTIL I decided to make money.. on the internet! I went to surveymoneymaker dot net, and started filling in surveys for cash, and surely I’ve been far more able to pay my bills!! I’m so glad, I did this! With all the financial stress these years, I really hope all of you will give it a chance. – z7e9
