You guys, I know how to sew!

Something major happened in the last few months, you guys. Somehow, without lifting a finger, all the blog posts and articles I’ve read about sewing crossed into the atmosphere of my brain. The other night, I got it into my head to make Owen a little bag. To my surprise, he was totally into it. For a while, I had a line in my professional bio that I dream of quilting. I’ve always had a fair amount of anxiety about sewing. I couldn’t sew in a straight line; my machine, basic as it is, was a mystery to me; I never really grokked how it all works. Then an old acquaintance moved to town and we started hanging out.
