One old t-shirt, a pair of scissors and twenty minutes and I was done. It’s soft and comfy, and as an added bonus it’s of course machine washable. My entire wardrobe these days has to be machine washable, on account of how much it gets spit-up on. But I refuse to slide into frumpiness, so projects like these are key!
Now I have to dig up more t-shirts I don’t wear anymore…

Right! I had trouble tying the knots when the ties were as short as the
tutorial calls for, so I made them around 4″ long, and then just left them
alone.
