		<description>Wow! A lot going on there!  I share your feelings. It&#039;s the reason I do what I do which is advocate for the arts in my home state.  We suffer from the &quot;why should you be funded when there are kids dying of (name whatever disease you wish)...it&#039;s not a matter of life or death.&quot;  In my world and in so many others, a lack of creativity and art would be a matter of life or death.  So--with my colleagues we keep trudging on reminding people that they make creative decisions as soon as they wake up (and sometimes even in their dreams!).  &lt;br&gt;I also agree with the underdog crochet challenge--I&#039;ve been workin it since college? high school? and right now am just having fun, but the designer in me is getting ready to come out!  I get almost kind of angry when I compare crochet and knit patterns and feel the difference in sophistication. I am so happy that new crochet designers are being so bold and adventurous!!!  My two cents, but it&#039;s really nice to read what I feel inside--you articulate really well, Kim!</description>
