Of course, there are always a lot of things happening during international events. Everybody wants to get his piece of the pie, I guess.
I'm just glad you're all having fun over there. :-) I'd love it to have people signing in the bus on my way home after work! (Just -not- in the morning. :-p)

I'm so glad you decided to de-lurk! There are certainly things going wrong,
but for an event this size, isn't that to be expected? I'm simply loving
seeing my city so alive. It's a big change from its usual sleepiness -- we
could use some good singing on the bus, you know?

Hi Kim, :-)

First time commenting here. :) I really love your blog.

Being a fellow canadian from Québec, I'm glad to see that the people of Vancouver are having a good time over there! It seems that the media likes to rant about what's going wrong in the Olympic, theses days. So it's good to hear it from someone of the place and that you're having some great time!

Cheers!

I'm happy about that, too! I wish we'd been in the crowds when that medal
was won.
