I don’t usually do holidays stuff, for all sorts of reasons. But anyway.
This year I’m actually participating in a holidays thing.
Sort of.
So head over there, all y’all who want to smack me in my bah-humbug face.
(Also, what’s the significance of a wreath, anyway? Please to inform. People make some really nifty ones, and I’d love to know the whole wreath story.)

I was wondering about the history of wreaths m'self.
Thanks for the shout out & for participating in a holiday event! :)
Ha ha, my “Wreath Week” image makes my eyes bleed.

Ha! I loved the image on your blog, but I had a similar reaction after I stole it and put it here. Like, wait, I don't think I can read it? Still, I totally love it.
That's so funny because after I commented that it made my eyes bleed, I thought to myself, but I still like it for some reason. Yep, I still like it for some reason. :) Kitschy.

Thanks for posting this, Kim! I'm not huge on Christmas crafting, but last year (mostly by happenstance) I made a minimalist wreath that makes me Snoopy-dance happy. What a great excuse to finally take photos of it!
I'm no wreath expert, but I believe the basics are that the circle symbolizes eternity and the evergreens symbolize life. I'm sure there are a lot more details.
