I've just been catching up on listening to my podcasts and heard your interview on Craftypod. There was such great stuff in that interview, I think I will have to go back and listen to it again.

Anyway I just wanted to suggest that you check out a book called "Refuse to Choose" by Barbara Sher. I read it when I was totally stuck with my PhD and couldn't understand why a topic that had totally fascinated me now bored me to tears and was making me miserable and why I couldn't seem to finish anything that I started. She describes people just like us who have huge enthusiasm for learning and trying new things, throw ourselves into projects and then one day just walk away from them to the bewilderment of everyone around us. From your interview it sounds like you have figure out a lot of stuff for yourself round this issue, but I certainly got a lot out of this book, and one of the best things was realising that there was nothing wrong with me and the way I worked.

I am looking forward to reading about more of your adventures in the future so good luck with everything.

I found your interview with Joss after listening to CastOn and I was so excited to hear Joss talk about crafting and New Media! Awesome!
Would you consider an interview on our video podcast LetsKnit2gether? We did an entire episode about making a Jayne hat for Leo Laporte and would love to chat with you about your quest to interview Joss!

Hey Kim-

I've been tagged in this "7 things" meme going around and now I'm tagging you. It looks like you have not been tagged before (surprisingly). If you feel like playing along, here's the link:

http://www.booksonthenightstand.com/2009/01/sev...

best,
Michael

I just finished listening to Cast-on. First of all, the Joss interview was one of the more amusing things I've read this year. Second, I think you rock in your complete abandon to do what inspires you. I am so with you.
