I had to try out all the tips people wrote (especially on Flickr). If I decide to stick with it, I might have to get a better grinder.

    The best cup of coffee I ever had was at that Tea Room on the North Fork in Greenport NY. I don't know what they did, but they used one of those French presses that you have, so it must be possible somehow. I wish every morning started there.
