However, when I've wanted them to look nice for an occasion, I will buy the polish (or buy polish ahead of time and bring it to the manicure -- that's cheaper) so that I can do tiny touch-ups when I chip. It isn't ideal because if you look closely, you can see that the manicure has been flawed, but since yours lasted a good four days, it may do the trick to make it work for another day or two.
