Wee Sweater: Clasp

I had a somewhat profound revelation knitting this sweater: I don’t enjoy bulky knitting anymore. Who knew? I found the big needles unwieldy. When I first started knitting, there was no way I’d ever consider 8mm needles unwieldy; maybe because that was the era of the ubiquitous 15mm needles (which I never used, actually). Now that I’ve finished this quick project, I’m excited to return to my in-progress Gathered Pullover on 4mm needles. (Note: I don’t feel similarly about crochet; I have no preferences in the entire mid-range of bulk [say, from 3.5mm to 10mm].)

The yarn is soft and delicious and I adore the colour, but there was a knot in each of the three balls I used. That was a bummer. Big time. Overall, I’m really happy with the wee sweater. Time to get back to a not-so-wee one.
