+1 on that one! I guess now would be a good time to buy all those things I've been lusting over but have had too much conversion-sticker-shock to actually buy.
It's like a crazy adventure, this currency thing. It makes my head spin. Just as I'm becoming quite passionate about shopping locally and connecting more to my community, I'm about to travel zig-zag style across the US for two months, I make my salary in a foreign currency, and I have family spread across the continent.
I'm an astigmatic expat writer, editor, blogger and brainstormer who loves thunderstorms, good books, sushi and wants to learn how to snowboard. Over the last few years I've written six crochet books, edited a magazine and co-hosted a television show. Now I work at LexPublica, I write and I craft.
I live in Vancouver, BC, with one human and one mutt. The mutt *hates* thunderstorms.
