I’ve decided to take a photo a day. I’m not joining any groups (yet). I don’t need more pressure or deadlines. But I’ve had a nagging desire to do this that’s been growing over the last couple of weeks. This year has proven to be one of staggering change and growth, and the idea of taking pause each day is comforting.
So, Day 1 is today. It’s the day I received my copies of the fall issue of Interweave Crochet: the first one I was a part of from the beginning. I’m both excited about it and so-last-month about it; I’m about to do the winter issue photo shoot and I’m planning both spring and summer of 2008.
But still, I squealed when the box arrived. Especially after I received another box as a false alarm.
I'm an astigmatic expat writer, editor, speaker, author of crochet books, blogger, crafter and founder of the Mighty Ugly project.
I love talking people into indulging their creativity and I sometimes help authors and crafters promote their work online and have fun while they do it. I write here about creative business, crafts, books, pop culture and generally about ideas that force their way out of my brain. Wanna talk about stuff? Don't hold back.
So congrats on the new issue. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing it. I have all the Interweave Crochet issues so far.
What is happening with Crochet Me (the website)?
Thanks, Kristin!
The website is still in production, but it’s very nearly ready for a wide beta test. Look for it in the next couple of weeks!
Robyn’s design on the cover is so sweet! Perfect color and design for fall!
Thanks, Pam!
