The horrah! Does it make your eyes spin in spirals?
This is my first granny square for the granny-along (hi Craft readers!). I might change the way I make the cream border, but I’ll border square in that yarn. Mostly because I have a lot of it and only have scraps or odd balls of the rest.
Also, the ripple is growing steadily and I still love it.
Right now I’m sitting here jittery and giddy because my editor at Interweave sent me an image of the cover of the Crochet Me book. And it looks gorgeous. I feel creative and satisfied and ohsovery excited.

I'm an astigmatic expat writer, editor, speaker, author of crochet books, blogger, crafter and founder of the Mighty Ugly project.
I love talking people into indulging their creativity and I sometimes help authors and crafters promote their work online and have fun while they do it. I write here about creative business, crafts, books, pop culture and generally about ideas that force their way out of my brain. Wanna talk about stuff? Don't hold back.
This looks great! I’m going to make my first granny square this weekend from yours and Cecily’s book. :)
Will keep you posted… hehe.
