Yesterday was the day the rain beat me. I can’t motivate myself. I’m both wanting to burrow and feeling stir crazy. I just walked the dog, and changed all my clothes in order to do so. I put on quick-dry pants, swapped my sweater for a fleece, wore Gore-Tex hiking boots, a toque, and a raincoat. Then it stopped raining halfway through the walk.
No forecast brings hope. It was sunny this morning; when I got out of the shower it was dark and pouring. In ten days, all work will move to Whistler; at least the snowy ground will provide some brightness.
